Active Women Association – Poland

 

AWA is a non-governmental non-profit organization acting locally and internationally for the empowerment and growth of young people in a sustainable and intercultural environment, gender equality, human rights, active citizenship, prevention of violence and social inclusion of different vulnerable groups at risk of exclusion. Its main fields of action are: active citizenship of youth, democracy and solidarity, non-formal education, strategic learning partnerships, fundraising, new media, ICT and finances, lobbying, advocacy, counselling, eco-coaching and promotion of volunteering. Another field of interest is self-development and empowerment, especially performed outdoors, with the goal to raise awareness about healing connection with nature through nature-based methodologies, as well as being interconnected with people all around the world, as one community. AWA promotes the intercultural dialogue between cultures and citizens in the global village. It supports the participation of citizens in local communities and creating pro-social and eco-friendly attitudes, with an emphasis on measures to combat exclusion, promoting alternative forms of leisure, travelling and responsible tourism.

Role in the project

AWA, being the project applicant, will be in charge of organising the 1st Idea development and prototyping workshop in Poland and train and facilitate the session. Apart from that, implementing all project activities in Poland. It will take part in project meetings, staff training and to the final conference. AWA has a broad experience in coordination of EU projects as well as a strong experience in working with young people at local, national and EU level.

United Societies of Balkans – Greece

U.S.B. is a non-profit NGO working in the field of youth, human rights and intercultural dialogue.

Founded in 2008, its vision is the promotion of youth empowerment, participation in the economic and political life, youth mobility, voluntarism and ecology. It has been involved in more than 1,500 projects. Its objectives and values are actualized in the society and the needs of the youngsters by promoting ecology and sustainable way of living and upgrading youth work using non-formal learning. The organisation therefore has a rich experience in organizing international youth activities, giving the opportunity to local youngsters to interact with others from Europe. Its activities concern the organisation of local interventions, campaigns, researches and seminars.

Role in the project

USB will be co-leading will be also in charge of organising the 2nd idea development and prototyping workshop and to train and facilitate the session. Moreover, it will participate implementing all project activities in Greece. It will take part to project meetings, to the staff training and to the final conference.

UBS will contribute to the success of the proposal by leveraging on its broad experience with the organisation of youth mobilities.

Centro italiano per l’apprendimento permanente – Italy

 

CIAPE is a non-profit cultural association promoting lifelong learning through an inclusive and future-looking approach. It holds expertise in designing and carrying out training activities aimed at developing and validating soft skills and competences required in the labour market. CIAPE works on a daily basis with more than 300 entities from all over Europe and beyond, implementing EU, national and regional projects concerning entrepreneurial education, new job profiles, social inclusion and innovative learning tools. It is a recognised European expert in WBL and a train-the-trainers organization, designer of innovative ideas aimed at ensuring the accessibility of learning to multiple target groups, including young people, namely those at risk of social and professional exclusion (youth from rural and remote EU areas, NEETs, Third-country nationals…). CIAPE is Italian antenna of EPALE – with two Ambassadors from Lazio Region, member of the Rural Employability Network, of the European Network of Innovation for Inclusion and of Euroguidance Italy; it is also coordinator of the European Network for Quality Apprenticeship and member of the CEDEFOP and “Quality Assurance in VET” communities.

Role in the project

CIAPE, being an expert organisation in training methodologies and tools. Apart from that, it will participate implementing all project activities in Italy. It will take part in project meetings and to the final conference. The organisation has a broad experience in designing and implementing training methodologies; moreover, it has recently started working with young people on topics connected to environment, sustainability and circularity.

STEP Inštitut, zavod za psihologijo dela in podjetništvo – Slovenia

 

STEP Institute is an innovative private non-profit organization that is dealing with people development. With project activities and trainings STEP’s team helps to bridge the differences between education and work, business and public sector, scientific approach and practical experience, startups and big organizations.

Mission of STEP Institute is to empower people for better functioning in the work environment through innovative methods. It also helps young people to discover and nurture their talents, develop professional and soft skills and realize entrepreneurial ideas into marketable solutions. On the other side it helps organizations to realize their potential by engaging its employees, developing new skills with train–the–trainer approach and enabling effective collaboration through team coaching sessions.

Role in the project

Due to its broad expertise with entrepreneurship and innovation. 

Apart from that, it will host and participate to the staff mobility.

Finally, it will participate implementing all project activities in Slovenia. It will take part to project meetings and to the final conference.

STEP will contribute to the success of the proposal by introducing in the project, its well-defined methodology for idea development and prototyping.

Volda University College – Norway

 

The Volda university college was originally founded over 150 years ago, as the first teacher training college in rural Norway. The University College has approximately 4300 students and 370 employees, the largest educational institution for humanities and social sciences in this part of the country. Today, it offers one PhD programme, eight Master’s programmes, more than 30 Bachelor’s programmes and about 450 courses/modules for schools and kindergartens, welfare, media and culture. The professional-oriented basic education is the foundation of the study portfolio. The other studies offered are varied and include among others: media and communication, general and pre-school education, social sciences, social work, public planning & administration, as well as literature, linguistics, math & science, history, arts & crafts, outdoor life & physical education, music and drama & theatre. Volda University College is also an active and dialogue-seeking actor within continuing education both regionally and nationally. Volda University College aims to carry out research and development work with high quality in such a way that it provides the educational services with a solid foundation.

Role in the project

This PA will contribute to the success of the project by bringing its experience within higher education and research as well as inspiring and creating relations with young people.

Asociación Amigos de Europa Leonardo Da Vinci – Spain

 

Founded in 1998, AELV is a non-profit association with the main aim of providing mobility opportunities for young people, promoting training, support and technical expertise, cultural activities, social and political awareness as well as putting them together with institutions and companies. AELV’s purpose is to promote Europe awareness, based on training and knowledge of activities related to the conservation of nature and the promotion of the sustainable development, convinced that the best strategy of preserving nature and culture is promoting the sustainable development through education.

By participating in the mobility program Leonardo da Vinci and SVE it has been improving its management system in mobility programs, taking part in several projects about friendly environment and agriculture, reaching to form a strong network in the environmental area: about 75 people and different organizations are members of the association.

AELV will contribute to the success of the proposal by leveraging on its broad experience with training and activities related to the conservation of nature and the promotion of the sustainable development.

Group of European Youth for Change – Romania

 

Group of the European Youth for Change – GEYC is a Romanian youth organization founded in 2010 active at the European level. GEYC is the initiator and coordinating organization of PRISMA European Network, a European wide coalition aimed to raise the quality of youth projects.

Our mission is to empower young people to create a positive change in their community.

Objectives:

  • Supporting and developing initiatives to encourage young people to be more active in the field of civic participation and to defend human rights in general through human rights education, intercultural learning and remembrance;
  • Promoting social networks and new media technologies, personal and professional development of young people and youth workers through digital literacy and access to online resources and tools;
  • Encouraging social, green and digital entrepreneurship by providing tools for young people and youth workers to increase their employability and competitiveness in the labour market;
  • Promoting the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) among young people and developing initiatives focused on social inclusion, gender equality and environmental conservation.

 Target groups:

– young people (14-35 years old) from Romania and Romanian Diaspora;

– youth workers and youth organisations from EU & neighboring countries;

– teachers from Romania;

Role in the project

GEYS will contribute to the success of the proposal by leveraging on its broad network of stakeholders with specific attention to youth NGOs and policymakers at local, national and EU level.

Innovative Education Center – Austria

 

IEC Austria has been established by a group of experienced youth workers and international consultants in order to provide a pool of expertise for young people in the field of innovation, empowerment, entrepreneurship, global citizenship, equality, democracy, justice, sports and environment. Its mission is to promote the concept of ecological citizenship, which emphasizes responsibility, community and care and to promote social inclusion through environmental protection.

In order to attain this goal, IEC’s members have been collaborating with NGOs, IFIs and governments and have worked in various projects funded by European Commission and UN. It identifies gaps in society and develops ways to encourage young people to adopt alternative approaches as well as promotes entrepreneurship in the field of youth.

IEC develops working examples of sustainable societies as alternatives to strict regulations and supports organisations working in youth work by sharing knowledge and resources, helping them to find sustainable-use solutions based on sound science.

It is a partner organisation of The Austrian Alpine Club.

Apart from that, it will participate implementing all project activities in Austria, it will take part to project meetings, to the staff training and to the final conference. This organization will contribute to the success of the project by leveraging on its expertise with sustainable development and work with young people.

Cyprus Youth Council – Cyprus

 

Cyprus Youth Council (CYC) was founded in 1996 as a volunteer, non – governmental, non – profit organization. It aims at promoting dialogue and cooperation between youth in Cyprus and connecting them with youth in Europe and globally. CYC is in continuous cooperation with the European Youth Forum.

Areas of interest, always in relation to youth, include human rights and equality, employment and social issues, active citizenship and lifelong learning, non formal education and youth policies.

CYC seeks to act as a platform of exchange and communication between all Cyprus youth NGOs.

Therefore the CYC organises events, seminars, workshops and activities providing the necessary space for its members to exchange good practices, interests and experience on any youth related topic.

It also acts as a platform for its members for participating in European projects and is the main stakeholder in the Structured Dialogue.

Moreover, CYC voices the concerns of youth NGOs including lobbying to policy makers for a number of youth related issues (e.g. environment, youth and education, youth unemployment, validation of non-formal education etc).

Cyprus Youth Council (CYC). Moreover, it will take part to project meetings and to the staff training and it will participate implementing all project activities in Cyprus. Cyprus Youth Council (CYC), being a youth council, will contribute to the success of the project thanks to its active role in engaging young people both at national and EU level; relevant will be its link with the European Youth Forum.

Youthfully Yours – Slovakia

 

Youthfully Yours SK is a non-governmental organization aimed to empower ambitious and competent young people eager to benefit their community.

In order to achieve that, it is determined to empower a sense of initiative and social responsibility, and to promote active citizenship, social inclusion and intercultural dialogue among young people.

YY believes in the value of non-formal education and organizes various seminars and trainings, cooperates with local schools and universities, and introduces innovative educational approaches to young people, youth leaders and workers.

On the international level, YY is part of various networks supported by different educational programmes (e.g. Erasmus+, International Visegrad fund, European Youth Foundation, ESC).

As a contact point of the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs program, it informs youngsters and students with a business idea about EYE opportunities, providing them with all necessary information. YY is part of the national operation team for the implementation of National Strategy for Youth 2019-2020 (field “Youth Employability and Entrepreneurship”).
